Diller woman dies after being found unresponsive

A Diller woman died Saturday after she was found unresponsive at her home.

Melissa Weers, 28, was pronounced dead at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center Saturday morning after she was found unresponsive at her home at 12477 W. Sage Road, according to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.

CPR was performed at the time of the call, deputies reported.

An autopsy was ordered by the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and was completed on Sunday, according to the sheriff’s office. Autopsy results are pending and the investigation continues.

Weers is survived by her husband, Shawn, and three children, Marquis, Isaiah and Spencer.
