Habitat for Humanity of Gage County was given a Disney Vacation Package valued at $1,500 by the Toro Giving Program to help raise funds to build a home for someone in need of a decent, affordable home.
Raffle tickets were sold during May and June and the drawing was held June 30 at the Exmark Conference Center by Mike Christensen. The winner of the Habitat for Humanity of Gage County Disney Vacation Package was Joe Billesbach of Beatrice.
The Habitat for Humanity “Great Discount Savings Card” with 10 local partnering businesses is good until April 2009.
Habitat for Humanity of Gage County thanks Exmark staff and employees for their support of this fundraising project, as well as everyone who purchased tickets. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be used for the building of the next Habitat for Humanity of Gage County home.
Habitat for Humanity of Gage County just completed the fifth Habitat home in Gage County and has tithed and built five homes in Ethiopia, Africa.
