Margaret M. Schrepel

Margaret M. Schrepel, 97, Lincoln, formerly of Beatrice, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Lincoln.

She was a member of the Cathedral of The Risen Christ Catholic Church, the Cathedral Altar Society, Lincoln Education Association, a former member of the Lincoln Gardening Club and Lincoln Business and Professionals Club. She enjoyed playing Bridge.

Survivors: sisters, Helen Meier of Fairfax, Va., and Erma Sheldon of Hotschkiss, Colo.; brother and sister-in-law, Verne and Nina Meier of McLean, Va.; 16 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Libbie Wortman and Mary Groebner. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, H. Arthur; sisters, Alma, Doreen and Lois; brothers, Howard, Clyde and Lyle.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 5, at Cathedral of The Risen Christ Catholic Church, Lincoln. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Steinauer, Neb. Visitation: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St., Lincoln, and 9 a.m.-10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Rosary: 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Cathedral.
