Adams Outlaws runners-up at Seward softball tourney

SEWARD - Adams Outlaws 16-and-under softball team finished second at the Seward SBA Tournament recently.,

In pool play, the Outlaws opened with a 3-0 loss to the Milford Sports Express.

In the their second game, the Outlaws defeated the Columbus Bullets Blue, 6-0, behind the pitching of Abbey Klein.

The Outlaws defeated the Palmyra-Douglas Panthers, 8-2, in a rain-shortened game in their final pool-play contest.

Heading into tournament action, the Outlaws opened with a 5-1 win over Palmyra-Douglas.

In their second game, the Outlaws defeated the Columbus Bullets White, 2-0.

In the championship game, the Outlaws fell to Dmilaco of Kearney, 3-0.
