DAVID CITY - Wilber-Clatonia’s Lady Wolverines dropped two contests Saturday in Southern Nebraska Conference softball tournament action at David City.
The Lady Wolverines lost their first-round game to Milford, 7-4.
Bridget Murkle took the loss for Wilber-Clatonia.
Picking up hits in the opener for the Lady Wolverines were Lacey Hyde with a double, Camry Fikar with a double and single, Kamrie Roesler with a double, Amanda Baldwin with a single, Alexa Cervey with a single and Kyra Jiskra with two singles.
In loser’s bracket action, Wilber-Clatonia fell to host David City, 2-1.
The Lady Wolverines had just three hits in the game — a single each by Roesler, Baldwin and Cerveny.
Fikar took the loss on the mound.
In earlier action, Wilber-Clatonia defeated Auburn/Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer, 7-1, Thursday.
Murkle earned the win for the Lady Wolverines.
Hitting for Wilber-Clatonia were Roesler with a double, Murkle with two singles, Baldwin with a double, Cerveny with a double and home run and Jiskra with a double.
Auburn/HTRS had four hits in the game with Cortny Standerford, Abby Bennett, Lyndsi McClintock and Megan Cochran each hitting a double.
Tory Linnerson took the loss for Auburn/HTRS.
