We have to say it again (although you probably will choose not to print it), Go Thunderbolts. Show Beatrice who has the best players, coaches, and who the best team is! No doubt you will come out on top.

GO THUNDERBOLTS!

Reply to Way to go Beatrice - We don't need to rethink our statement. Pius still has the best coaches, the best players, and the best all-around attitude. Beatrice could learn a lot from Pius's philosophy of high school football.

On any given day, the BEST team may lose which is what happened Friday evening. Beatrice still has a LONG way to go to make it to Memorial Stadium. We don't see it happening.

Reply to Beatrice Fans, you can keep you rude comments to yourself. The only thing I will agree with is that yeah the best team may lose, which that is what happened to when Beatrice lost to Waverly. The coaches are doing a great job with the players. And as for Pius having the best all around attitude, I think you might want to listen to some of them because they do not have the attitude you think they do. There were very rude comments made by some of the pius kids.

I think Beatrice will make it to Memorial Stadium and if they don't that still does not make Beatrice a bad football team. The kids go out a play there hearts out at every game. I know my son eats and sleeps football 24 seven. So I will say it again WAY TO GO ORANGEMEN!!!!

I notice Beatrice is back up to 2nd place in Class B. How sad! They do not deserve to be rated No. 2!

To: Beatrice Fans

I interacted with several of the "pious" Pius students at last week's football game. They did NOT represent their school well. They did NOT represent their God well. You may want to change your focus to your own kids. They need some lessons (and perhaps modeling) on how to conduct themselves at school functions. I was appalled.

Falcon power! How about that Freeman team undefeated and ranked 5th.
Whoa ... what

Pius has the best attitude???

Pius for years has been known for not having the best fans! Plus, as a former BHS player ... out of all the schools I have played against, Pius was the worst...players AND fans! Now as a sports broadcaster ... I have called a few Pius games and have noticed that NOTHING has changed! Just ask the Southern softball catcher who got CRUSHED but a Pius runner who was out by a mile on a force play! She was out about 1/2 way to the plate and STILL ran over the catcher! And dont tell me that is just part of the game! Not when it was aorce play and she was out several feet before she got to home plate.

anyway ... Pius may have a good team, but please dont say they are better fans and better people than anyone else!

call the NSAA and ask them when the last time Pius has won the sportsmanship ward at the state tournament! Im guessing never!!!

These ratings are a week old, Freeman is now 3rd in all of the major polls, Lincoln Journal Star, Omaha World Herald and Associated Press. They are rated 4th in Huskerland Preps. Falcons are having a great year so far, need to finish out the regular season and get deep into the play offs. Great job of coaching and a great bunch of kids. Seems like the success of the Class C State Championship in baseball is carrying over. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!
