The second week is half over and I'm feeling good. Yesterday's workout had me practically jogging. To all you healthy fitness people it probably wouldn't count for much, but it was the fastest I've ever been on a treadmill. I didn't go flying off the end and no one had to break out the AED, so I'm calling it a win.
Again, working out with Brian at Anytime Fitness has been great! He's motivating us to do things we would never do if let on our own. He's encouraging us to work towards making lifestyle changes and not just a quick weight loss.
The nutrition part of this is going well too. If you peeked in our fridge you'd certainly think we were eating healthy. And when I spent an hour on Tuesday picking up our trash that had gotten ripped up and blown all down the road there were no fast food wrappers and bags. That might be a first.
All in all I'm glad we signed up for this and hope to keep doing as well as I feel like we are.
