We are down to one more week and although I've not reached my weight loss goal by a long shot, I'm still happy with my results. I've lost inches, gained muscle, my resting heart rate is lower and I'm more active than I've been in my entire life.
I wish I were smaller, but I'm more than happy to just be healthier. I can do so much more than I ever could before. I can keep up with my kids at the Rolla Rena. I can go on bike rides with them. As I write this, I'm on the treadmill after working a 12 hr shift because I want to do better and be better.
All of us in the Fitness Challenge are examples of what anyone can do. It doesn't take a lot to make small changes toward a healthier lifestyle.
I've been blessed to participate on this challenge and have the support of my husband and the encouragement of Bryan at Anytime Fitness to spur me on, but all it takes is the spark and the desire to get up and move more.
Whether it's a mile walk or a walk to the end of the driveway it all adds up. Just keep moving!
