One of the hardest weeks followed by one of my most favorite weeks!
Everything kind of felt real well this week. All of my workouts were tough and very rewarding. I was in the gym Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I wasn't going to go on Thursday, but I almost felt like I missed it, or I was cheating by not going. So I went and had a good cardio session. Friday was a recheck in with the ½ mile run. My goal was 5 minutes... 4:17 and I think I left some time on the table. That made me feel real happy and proud of myself.
Nutrition-wise, this week has been great. My wonderful wife Amber is 100 percent on board with the eating and that has helped immensely. We are eating lots of fish, chicken, veggies, and fruits. It is a lot easier when you have someone else in the house to bounce ideas off of.
I have lost more weight during this challenge then I thought I would. But more importantly, I have learned more about myself, and a healthy lifestyle than I thought I would have. Now, more than ever, I want to continue to see how far I can go with it.
