A 29-year-old Beatrice man was arrested Tuesday after he showed up at his ex-wife's Lincoln home with a rifle and asked her to come outside, police said.

Andrew Licthenberg was dropped off at 1148 Rose St. around 6:35 a.m. by his girlfriend, got out and retrieved a .22-caliber rifle from the trunk, Lincoln Police Officer Angela Sands said.

He put on a mask resembling that of Jason from the "Friday the 13th" movies and told his ex-wife he had a gun and to come outside, Sands said. Police called to the scene found Licthenberg sitting on the front porch.

Licthenberg didn't initially cooperate with officers but was eventually arrested without injury, Sands said.

He was taken to jail on suspicion of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony. He was also cited and released for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, fail to comply and child abuse.
