A man was apprehended by law enforcement after a brief foot pursuit in Wymore.
Todd L. Parde, 42, was arrested for obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest following the pursuit.
The incident began Friday at around 9:30 a.m. when a Gage County deputy and members of the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force went to the 500 block of North 11th Street in Wymore looking for Parde, who had an active felony warrant.
A woman answered the door and told the authorities that Parde was inside, according to court documents. She went to get him, and a few minutes later the deputy heard other officers yell that Parde was running from the house.
Several officers pursued him, and Parde eventually gave up and got on the ground. He was then taken into custody.
Parde’s bond is set at $10,000 with a 10 percent deposit. His next hearing is set for Sept. 19.
