Beatrice police arrested a man for allegedly making terroristic threats after a drug deal went bad.

On March 4 at around 8:30 p.m., police were sent to the 1700 block of North Ninth Street for reports of a male who said he had a gun and was not afraid to shoot somebody.

The man was in a Cadillac and the suspect, Emmanuel X. Beach, was a passenger.

The female driver gave officers permission to search the vehicle and no firearm was found.

A juvenile victim said he was contacted to purchase $160 in marijuana for Beach.

The victim said he went to buy the marijuana and was robbed at gunpoint, according to court documents.

When the victim told Beach he had been robbed, Beach allegedly threatened the victim and the victim saw him in a vehicle.

Beach denied making any threats and was placed under arrest for terroristic threats.
