Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have completed a special enforcement in conjunction with Czech Days in Wilber.
The enforcement, which ran Aug. 4 and Aug. 5 in Saline County, included high visibility saturation patrols.
It was made possible due to a grant from the Saline County C/URB Prevention Coalition, Region V Systems and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services utilizing funds from the Substance Abuse Prevention/ Treatment Federal Block Grant.
Citations were issued for speeding (10), no operator’s license (two), no seat belt (two), open container (two) and minor in possession (one).
In addition, troopers issued citations for 12 other violations and 29 warnings. Troopers tested two drivers for impairment, but no arrests were made.
