The Friends of the Beatrice Public Library will hold their Annual National Library Week Book Sale on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 15 from 2-5 p.m.

This sale includes a combination of new items donated for this purpose as well as materials withdrawn from the Library’s collection.

According to Sharon Karas, “this sale is a real bargain. The items continue to be sold for twenty-five cents each. We started this when the Homestead quarter was issued and have continued ever since because it was so popular that more books were sold than usual.”

For more information about this activity, contact the Library at www.beatrice.ne.gov/library or 402-223-3584.
