St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Marysville, Kan. is undergoing renovations. The new bell tower will house three refurbished bells and will measure 114 feet tall when it is completed.

St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church is undergoing a new addition and renovation project in Marysville, Kan.

Under the care of Father Nathan Haverland, HTK Architects of Kansas City has been working on the project, estimated to cost $7,685,782.

The bell tower and steeple were manufactured at the Landoll Corporation and will include three bells that have been completely refurbished by Landoll Corporation. The largest bell weighs 1,000 pounds, with two others weighing in at 600 and 400 pounds.

The project will also incorporate four 500-pound clocks designed and manufactured by Landoll Corporation.

Members of the committee include Chairman Don Landoll, Bill Oborny, Joann Wacek, Bob Welch and Paula Landoll-Smith, with parish council committee representatives Jeff Schell and Bob Voet.
