At around 3:30 Monday afternoon, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash at Eighth and Court streets in Beatrice.
A school bus full of students collided with a Ford Crown Victoria when the car pulled in front of the bus, said Beatrice Police officer Colleen Soldo.
There were no injuries reported, but traffic was closed to Eighth Street and for the eastbound lanes of Court Street.
After colliding with the bus, the car spun up onto the sidewalk by the Aunt Mary’s Center parking lot and the bus came to a stop in the right-hand lane of Court Street.
A second school bus came by to take the children home, and the students were given fire badge stickers by members of Beatrice Fire and Rescue.
“Seems like everybody's ok,” Soldo said. “More scared than anything.”
