Larry F. Rademaker
Larry F. Rademaker, age 79, of Adams (formerly of Firth), passed away on Oct. 29, 2017 at Bryan West Medical Center. He was born at home on July 16, 1938 near Firth, to Fred and Anna (Schmale) Rademaker. He married Mary Grossoehmig on March 25, 1961, in Firth and farmed his entire life until his retirement. He had a love for music and a passion for athletics. Larry was an avid Husker and Royals fan and enjoyed laughing and playing cards with his family, grandkids and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife, Mary of Adams; son, Randy Rademaker of Firth; daughters, Jody and Scott Buhr of Adams, Kay Buel of Olathe, Kan. and Gina Honigschmidt of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister-in-law, Melzie Rademaker of Lincoln; in-laws, Paul and Bev Grossoehmig of Lincoln; as well as his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Delmar; sister, LaVerne; a brother in infancy; and son-in-law, Nick Honigschmidt.
Memorials may be directed to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Hickman. Visitation will take place on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family receiving friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Celebration of life services will be held Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, located at 6901 Panama Road in Hickman. Interment will take place in the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
