Terry Lee Janssen, 68, of Beatrice, died Saturday morning, Nov. 6, 2010 at his home after a short battle with lung cancer. He was born Dec. 25, 1941 at Blue Hill and attended parochial school in Hastings. He was a laborer for several companies including Lincoln Plating and Gooches Mill in Lincoln and Store Kraft Manufacturing and the Recycling Center in Beatrice. On July 15, 2002 he married Bonnie Rogman. He enjoyed car racing.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie of Beatrice; two daughters Tracie Wooge and Vicki Janssen both of Lincoln; one grandson Joshua Lee Wooge of Lincoln; one sister LeIlla Insco of Lincoln; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Augusta Janssen and three brothers. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at the Fox Funeral Home with Chaplain Doyle Karst officiating. Cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing. A memorial has been established to Relay for Life. A register book will be available for signatures at the Fox Funeral Home Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday.
