MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Tyler O'Neill homered twice and singled, driving in four runs and scoring three as the Memphis Redbirds topped the Iowa Cubs 7-4 on Monday.
Max Schrock doubled and singled twice with two runs for Memphis.
Down 1-0 in the first, Memphis took the lead when Oscar Mercado hit a solo home run and O'Neill hit a two-run home run.
Trailing 6-2, the Cubs cut into the deficit in the seventh inning when Mark Zagunis hit an RBI single, driving in Chesny Young.
The Redbirds tacked on another run in the eighth when Schrock hit an RBI single, driving in Ramon Urias.
Memphis right-hander Dakota Hudson (3-0) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing two runs on seven hits over six innings. Opposing starter Jen-Ho Tseng (0-3) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game after a rough outing in which he allowed six runs and seven hits over five innings. Preston Guilmet gave up one run in two innings and recorded his fourth save of the season.
