The Southeast Community College men's basketball team had six players score in double figures Sunday in their win over Central Community College.
The Storm defeated Central 88-71 at the Truman Center in the final regular season game of the year.
All five of SCC's starters finished in double figures scoring while another player came off the bench to score in double figures.
Daniel Quesenberry led the way for SCC with 17 points while Kouth Path had 16 points, Shou Nisbet and Kalem Hardway had 15 each and Jalen Wilkins-McCoy had 13. Darian McDonald came off the bench to score 10.
Andrius Jones also got into the score book with two points
Quesenberry was 5 of 5 from three point range in the game. Nisbet had 14 rebounds for a double-double. Wilkins-McCoy had seven assists and five steals while Hardaway had six assists.
SCC was able to get out to a lead early. Central scored first, but a basket by Nisbet, a free throw by Hardway and a jumper by Path gave SCC a 5-1 lead.
After a Central basket, Nisbet scored and Wilkins-McCoy followed that ups with a jumper to make it 9-3.
SCC would then answer another Central basket with a 6-0 run. Path got the run started with a basket in the post followed by a three pointer from Quesenberry.
On the very next defensive possession, Hardaway was able to get a steal and go in for a fast break dunk to make it 16-5.
The Storm would be able to continue to hold a 46-36 lead at half time. They outscored Central 42-35 in the second half to get the 88-71 win.
The Storm is now 4-26 on the season and they will host Central again on Saturday at 7 p.m.. The winner will go to the District 7 Championship game against the winner of Region 13.
