MESA, Ariz. -- Southeast Community College's Noah Hoffman finished runner up at the NJCAA Division II Championship.

Hoffman had a four day score of 286 (+2), which was just four strokes shy of individual champion Colin Troxler of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, who finished with a four day score of 282 (-2).

Hoffman started the tournament out with a 74, but bounced back with scores of 69 in both the second round and third round. He rounded out the tournament with a 74.

Besides the first round, Hoffman's 18-hole scores were identical to Troxler's the rest of the week.

The Storm team finished tied for eighth in the standings. They shot a four round score of 1,207 (+71). Mesa Community College was the team champion with a four day score of 1,155 (+19).

Dom Vertuli was SCC's next best finisher. His four day score was 297, which was good enough for a tie for 21st. Kyle Murray and Kean Kontor both shot scores of 316, which tied them for 74th. Tyler Wagner rounded out the scoring with a score of 322, which tied him for 92nd.
