The Southeast Community College men's golf team finished first at their home invite earlier this week.

The Storm finished with a score of 597, which topped second place Hastings 1 (613) and third place Midland 2 (637). Finishing fourth was Midland 1 (640) while Hastings 2 finished fifth and Union College finished sixth.

SCC occupied the top two spots in the individual standings. Noah Hoffman brought home a first place medal with a two day score of 146 (+2) while Kyle Murray finished second with a 147 (+3).

Hoffman's best round came on the first day when he carded a 70. He then followed that up with a 76 in the final round. Murray opened up his tournament with a 75 before coming back with a 72 in the final round.

Collin Tedesco of Hastings College finished third with a 148.

Rounding out SCC's scoring was Dominek Vartuli finishing fifth with a 151, Kean Kontor finishing sixth with a score of 153 and Tyler Wagner finishing 10th with a 158.

The Storm golfers will be in action again on Monday and Tuesday when they travel to the Sterling College Invitational in Sterling, Colo.
