The Southeast Community College volleyball team went 2-2 over the weekend during the RKP Invitational at the Truman Center in Beatrice.
In the first match, SCC fell to Williston State in straight sets 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.
Stevie Tobin led the Storm offensive attack with 12 kills while Madison Biesecker had eight kills and Sydney Vann had six kills. Addi Schramm had 36 assists in the match.
Biesecker and Schramm also had two ace serves each. Vann had four blocks and Katie Ellard had eight digs.
In the second match on Friday, SCC defeated Southwestern in straight sets 25-23, 25-22, 25-14.
Tobin had seven kills while Biesecker and Vann had six kills each. Schramm had 22 assists.
Tobin also had five service aces in the match while Van had three service aces. Ellard had 18 digs and Kim Whiting was in on four blocks.
On Saturday, SCC won their first match against Southeastern 29-27, 23-25, 25-3, 17-25, 19-17.
Tobin again led the offense with 13 kills while Biesecker and Vann had eight kills each. Taylor Wiemers added seven kills.
Schramm had 45 total assists. The Storm had two service aces each from Biesecker, Ellard, Tobin and Wiemers. Ellard had 14 digs and Vann was in on five blocks.
In SCC's finale on Saturday, they fell to Highland in four sets 14-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.
Tobin pounded home 13 kills while Biesecker had eight kills and Diedre Waite and Vann had six kills each.
Schramm had 36 assists and Jade Riedel had four service aces in the match. Ellard had 23 digs while Waite was in on five blocks and Wiemers was in on four blocks.
The Storm (2-2) will continue their season on Friday when they travel to compete in the Northeast Community College Invite. They will play Kirkwood, Marshalltown, Lake Region State and Iowa Lakes.
SCC will be at home again next Tuesday, Sept. 5 when they host McCook CC at 5 p.m.
