Norris senior tight end/linebacker Bryce Stai has made an oral commitment to play college football at Ohio for former Nebraska head coach Frank Solich.
The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Stai made the announcement on Twitter on Sunday night. Stai, the son of former Husker and NFL offensive guard Brenden Stai, chose Ohio over offers from Air Force, Northern Iowa, Cornell, North Dakota State, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Western Michigan and Youngstown State.
Stai, who was recruited to Ohio by another former Husker, Jimmy Burrows, took his official visit to the school last weekend.
“I’m thankful to all the coaches that recruited me and offered me giving me a chance to play at the next level,” Bryce Stai wrote on Twitter. “I love the game and I love everything it has done for me. With that said, I’m excited to announce my commitment to Ohio University.”
