"The girls came out hard against Johnson-Brock with a nothing to lose attitude," Jurgens said. "They played hard the first game, leading the majority of the game but just couldn't finish it. Then our youth and inexperience showed in the second game. I was pleased with how we performed the first weekend out, and we know some things we need to work on and we will focus on improving those areas throughout the season."
The Lady Griffins will be in action again Tuesday when they host Falls City Sacred Heart.
