The Beatrice girls team fell to River Cities Conference rival Ralston Thursday night at home.
The Lady Rams defeated Beatrice 6-0 at the House of Orange.
Despite the loss, first year coach Bryan Heinz said he sees promise from this team.
"The result was not what we were hoping, but our mid field played especially well, stringing together passes and passing the ball well," Heinz said.
Heinz was particularly pleased with the play from Nalin Theplikhith and Whitney Schwisow.
"Nalin and Whitney Stood out with their physical play and great composure in the midfield," Heinz said. "Shelby Ankersen also had a great game."
Heinz said he was pleased with the win in the junior varsity game, which shows promise for the future of the Lady O soccer program.
"Lots of players got in some quality minutes," Heinz said. "All in all, we are very proud of the development of a freshmen dominant team."
The Beatrice girls team falls to 2-5 on the season with the loss.
