The Beatrice wrestling team finished fourth out of nine teams Saturday at the Beatrice Invitational.

The Orangemen finished with 169 points, which put them behind Papillion-La Vista South (225.5), Marysville, Kan. (200) and Lexington (196.5).

Beatrice finished ahead of Lincoln Southeast, West Point-Beemer, Lincoln Northeast, Mount Michael Benedictine and Omaha Gross Catholic.

The Orangemen had three individual champions. Tanner York, Drew Arnold and Jerad Humble all finished first in their respective weight classes.

York won the 106-pound division. He received a first round bye before scoring an 8-1 decision over Lexitong's Ivan Lazo in the second round. He won his final three matches by pinfall over Charles Dungan of Lincoln Northeast, Hunter Dillon of Lincoln Southeast and Isaac Novotny of Marysville.

Arnold won the 113-pound division. He won all four of his matches by pinfall over Ethan Radabaugh of Lincoln Northeast, Ean Bailey of Lexington, Matthew Schmitz of Marysville and Tommy Whitaker of Mount Michael.

Humble claimed first place in the 220-pound division. He won his first match 6-0 over Tyler Robinson of Papillion-La Vista South and won by pinfall over Jayden Schrader of Lincoln Northeast. In the championship, he defeated Cody Kirby of Lincoln Southeast by a 9-2 decision.

Jason Stevens managed a runner-up finish in the 182 pound division. He won his first three matches by pinfall before losing an 8-4 decision to Trajen Linear of Papillion-La Vista South.

Beatrice got fourth place finishes from Ben Garland in the 132-pound division, Dylan Bassinger in the 145-pound division and Aaron Shumaker in the 195-pound division.

Notching fifth place finishes were Will Reimer in the 120-pound division, Kaleb Dayhuff in the 126-pound division and Coleton Williamson in the 152-pound division.

Quintin Hartig finished seventh at 138, Parker Zulauf finished eighth at 170 and Jacob Cude finished ninth at 160.

Marysville didn't have any individual champions on the day, but had seven runner-up finishes.

Isaac Novotny finished second at 106, Ethan Crownover finished second at 126, Johnny Crome finished second at 132, Gabe Capp finished second at 145, Noah Ackerman finished second at 152, Ben Dwerlkotte finished second at 195 and Seth Mooradian finished second at 285.

The Orangemen will be in action again on Thursday when they host a dual with Nebraska City. They then travel to the Marysville Invite on Saturday.
