Beatrice natives won four of the five A Features Friday night at the Beatrice Speedway.

In the Modified A Feature, Beatrice Jordan Grabouski returned to claim the checkered flag while Beatrice's Kyle Vanover edged out Dan Nelson in the Stock Car A Feature.

John Martinez of Beatrice got a victory in the Sports Compact A Feature while Lance Borgman once again won in the Sports Modified A Feature.

The lone winner not from Beatrice was Brendon Stigge of Fairbury, who claimed the checkered flag in the Hobby Stock A Feature.

Sport Mods

Bruce Lang led them out of turn four with Rick Rohr and Craig Evers right behind. On the next lap, Evers took the lead with Rohr right behind him. Evers and Rohr battled for the lead for the next few laps and on lap four, Rohr took the lead.

Lance Borgman worked his way up through the pack and for a few laps, Rohr and Borgman battled for the lead. On lap eight, Borgman took the lead, and for several laps, he built a nice lead. Rohr got the win by a straight away.

Sport compacts

Ronda Mewes led them out of turn four with Bryson Fralin and Nathan Wahlstrom right behind. On lap two, the caution came out for Wahlstrom, Brandon Merriman and Justin brown when they got tangled up in turn one.

Mewes led them out of turn four, but the red flag quickly came out for medical assistance in the grand stands. On the green, Mewes led them out of turn four with Fralin, Dillon Richards and Shawn Hein right behind him.

John Martinez worked his way up through the pack and out of turn four, Martinez took the lead with Bohlmeyer and Richards right behind. Martinez held Bohlmeyer and Richards off for the win.

Stock Cars

Tyler Phelps and Jake Waldron battled for the lead coming out of turn four and Waldron took the lead and led for a few laps until lap three when Dan Nelson took the lead on the front stretch.

Kyle Vanover had already worked his way up through the pack and was right behind Nelson. For the rest of the race, Nelson and Vanover battled back and forth for the lead. Nelson would take the lead and Vanover took it back.

The duo thrilled the crowd, but it was Vanover who narrowly edged out Nelson for the win.

Hobby Stock

Brendon Stigge led them out of turn four with Jake Harms and Roy Armstrong right behind. The caution came out for Taylor Huss and Travis Blythe. Stigge led them out of turn four with Armstrong and Harms behind.

The caution came out for Cody Green. Stigge led them out of turn four with Armstrong, Mark Saathoff and Harms right behind. With one lap to go, the caution came out for Taylor Huss.

During the caution, Armstrong pulled in with a flat but made it back out before the green, which moved Saathoff up to the second spot. Stigge brought them out of turn four with Saathoff right behind.

They came out of turn four side by side, but Stigge got the win by a bumper.

Mods

Scott Smith led them out of turn four with Josh Blumer right behind him, On lap three, Blumer took the lead and Jordan Grabouski had worked his way up to the third spot.

On lap five, Blumer and Grabouski came out of turn four side by side down the front stretch. Coming out of turn two, Grabouski took the lead and Bob Zoubek moved into the third spot.

With 10 laps to go, Shane Hiatt moved into the fourth spot. With seven to go, Hiatt got around Blumer and Zoubek to take the second spot. Hiatt tried to chase down Grabouski but he had already built up a straight away lead. Grabouski got the win.
