I decided to kick my own tail for the last 10 days or so. Two workouts most days. I lowered my calories, drank extra H2O, doing every thing in my power to WIN!
0.03% -- you read that correct -- 0.03%, which equals out to about a tenth of a pound. That is what it all came down to. I would normally say I was the first loser, but I can say with out a doubt I was the second winner.
I lost 35 pounds over the last 13 weeks. But, what I lost is not near as important as what I gained. I gained so much knowledge about myself, my health, and how to live a much better life. My doctor wanted me to get on blood pressure meds now she says I don't need to be on them. I am now able to have energy after work to spend more quality time with my family. I now have more self-confidence, my wife is now on board with the healthier lifestyle.
I don't want this to sound like an Oscar speech, but I want to thank a few people. First off and most important: My wife, kids, family, and friends. They put up with my crazy diet and gym schedule. They were also the first ones to give me a pep talk when I needed one. I have nothing but great things to say about Jess and the fantastic job she did. I hope she continues on her current path. I cannot forget to thank Patrick at the Daily Sun for allowing me to be a part of this whole thing.

Finally, I cannot thank Bryan enough. He never made my workouts boring, always knew when it was time to kick it up, or tone it down. He gave me the knowledge to be able to continue being the better person I have become over the last 13 weeks.
Okay, I see the little light telling me my time is up, and I hear the orchestra starting there music. Time to get back to work. I AM NOT FINISHED!
If I can do this so can everyone else! Get up and get started!
