I'm actually bummed the whole challenge experience is over.

Over the past 13 weeks I learned so many new things. I learned about diet, eating habits, exercises for strength and weight loss, and I learned so much about myself as a person.

Thirteen weeks ago if you would of asked me if I would continue enforcing what I had learned after the challenge, I would probably have said yes, but still made unhealthy food choices, or slowly started making excuses not to be active.

I now can confidentially say, that I WILL continue to make progress, i WILL follow what I've learned and, I WILL be the best mom I can be to my son.

Not only have I gained strength, stamina, and better eating habits, I've also gained confidence and a new appreciation for life. I now am more able to keep up with my son and run after him, play kick ball, and wrestle with him, with out huffing and puffing. I'm able to wear clothes I haven't worn in years, and go out into public and not be self conscious on who and why people are looking at me.

On Tuesday I posted a before and after picture of myself on social media. The positivity i received was amazing! When I started this weight loss journey on my own I had dropped 20 pounds, and now with the challenge, I have lost 50 pounds in total!!! That picture finally helped me realize how far I had come, and how I can't go back to that old lifestyle.

I am beyond grateful for all the help and support from my friends and family, and the people who followed my journey here in the weekly articles. Of course a special thanks goes out to Tyson my trainer. I know you always say it was all me, but with out your extra push, and confidence in me, I wouldn't of been able to come this far!

So all in all, I Taylor McCabe, am happier, more optimistic, more energetic, and 50 pounds lighter. And in my book, I already won.
