Wow! I am so excited to be chosen to participate in this year's Fitness Challenge!
I'm looking forward to meeting my trainer this week & coming up with a plan to accomplish my goals. I am also really excited to learn to use all the new gym equipment, as I've never had a gym membership before.
As a busy homemaker, wife and mother of five precious children, ages five and under, it's definitely a challenge for me to eat healthy and work out.
Time, energy and money are always in short supply for me. But, I've come to realize that I have to make time to take care of myself first before I can take care for the rest of my family.
I want to be a good example for my kids and have more energy and self-confidence for myself. I know it's going to take a lot of time and effort, but I also know that I can't just wish my goals into being.
Thankfully, my husband is my biggest supporter and encourager and watching him participate in his own fitness challenge a few years ago, has inspired me to take part in my own this year.
Since we have decided that our family is now complete, it seemed like the perfect time to work on loosing all the leftover baby weight and becoming the best version of myself that I can be.
I don't expect to look exactly the way I did before becoming a mom and I'm proud of all that it's gone through to accommodate my precious blessings, but I do want to be as healthy and fit as I possibly can be.
