Three people have been arrested in connection with June burglaries, while warrants have been issued for two additional suspects.
The burglaries were in the 900 block of North 11th Street and the 900 block of North 11th Street in Beatrice.
Beatrice Police Lt. Jay Murphy said one residence had eight guns taken from it, while the other had miscellaneous items, including a slot machine and old coins, taken during the burglary.
On the scene at the North 11th Street location, officers discovered that the house had been broken into and every room ransacked. A gun safe was broken into and the guns were missing.
Trey Billesbach and Dalton Blair were later arrested. They allegedly crawled through the attic to a ventilation fan and entered the home, eventually going to the basement, where the firearms were located.

Since then, warrants for five additional suspects were issued.
“The guns were dispersed between many different people,” Murphy said. “Many people handled the guns and we’ve been trying to track all that stuff down. We found five of the eight guns and recovered and some of the coins.”
Three of the five people have turned themselves in, Murphy said. Those people Shawn Hatfield for possession of stolen property, Hannah Thomsen for tampering with evidence and Mindy Thomsen for tampering with evidence, burglary and possession of stolen firearms.
The two remaining suspects with active warrants related to the burglaries are Kevin Glaser and Jon Schriner.
