Jefferson County authorities arrested two people following a search of a Fairbury residence.
At 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on a residence located at 1115 A St. in Fairbury.
According to a press release from the department, the two residents of the property, Ronald J. Litrell, 59, and Robin Erichsen, 58, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and Littell was also charged with being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon.

The two suspects were out on bond for similar charges from a search warrant served on the same property on April 8.
Both subjects were transported and are currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail. This matter remains under investigation at this time and additional charges may be filed, the press release stated.
