Two people were arrested Monday morning for drug charges related to distribution of methamphetamine.
At around 5:30 a.m. Monday Beatrice police conducted a warrant search at 823 Elk St, the residence of Pamela Richards, 54, and Robert Clayton, 65.
Both people were detained and during questioning, arrest documents state that Clayton admitted to getting 5-7 grams of methamphetamine per week for the last two years.

The residence contained scales and marijuana pipes with burnt residue inside. A white crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine was also found.
Clayton and Richards were each arrested for possession of a controlled substance, distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
