Ashley HomeStore and Ashley Furniture Industries is donating 400 mattresses through its Hope to Dream program, to victims of the devastating floods in Nebraska. This $200,000 donation announcement comes in partnership with five Ashley HomeStore locations in Nebraska: Norfolk, Beatrice, Grand Island, Kearney and North Platte. Included with the mattresses will be pillows and sheet sets.

Company personnel from the participating HomeStores will deliver the donated mattresses to families affected by the flooding across Nebraska. The company is working with disaster relief organizations to organize the deliveries with recipients.

“Our employees and staff will be distributing beds to victims of the flood within 100 miles of Beatrice,” said Stan Meyer, who along with his wife Judy own the Ashley Homestore in Beatrice. “We're extremely proud to part of the Ashley family . We hope this brings a little comfort to some families in this trying times.”

In addition to the mattress donation, employees from the participating Ashley HomeStore locations are collecting monetary funds as a group to donate to Orphan Grain Train Nebraska Flood Relief, Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
