The Beatrice Regional Orchestra performs their last concert for the season in the Hevelone Center for Performing Arts. May marks ten years since the orchestra's first performance.

The Beatrice Regional Orchestra held their final concert for the season on Tuesday night, and celebrated 10 years of performances.

The orchestra was founded in January 2009 by Connie Moon, and an inaugural concert was held that May.

The conductor, Kevin Boesiger, said that more than 200 pieces of music has been performed by over 125 musicians since the orchestra was founded.

The musicians are all from southeast Nebraska, and range from high school age and older.

Their pieces for the night included "America, the Beautiful with My Country 'Tis of Thee", selections from The Phantom of the Opera and "Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat" from Guys and Dolls.
