Minor injuries were reported after a three vehicle crash late Friday night.
Just after 10 p.m. Friday, deputies with the Gage County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a three-vehicle wreck near Hickory Road and U.S. Highway 77.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the crash occurred after a northbound gray 2001 Mitsubishi, driven by Lindsey McCaffrey, of Beatrice, reported a tire failure caused the vehicle to cross over the grass median and impact a southbound black 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Hunter Buerskens of Beatrice.

The Mitsubishi landed on its top and was then struck by a southbound white 2015 Chrysler, driven by Cherish Lovell of Wymore.
Minor Injuries were reported in the Cruze. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were transported to Beatrice Community Hospital for treatment of none life threatening injuries.
Highway 77 was closed for approximately one hour while the debris and vehicles were removed. Alcohol was not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by Beatrice Fire and rescue, Beatrice Rural Fire and the Beatrice Police Department.
