A two-vehicle collision occurred Monday around 11 a.m. on the intersection of Highway 77 and Air Park Road.

The Beatrice Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck, which occurred Monday morning on Highway 77.

Reports state Roger Powell of Wymore was headed south on the highway, and was in the intersection of Air Park Road when the light turned yellow.

Powell was stated saying he did not see the semi-truck headed north and proceeded to turn left, causing his green truck to hit the side of the semi.

The semi, which was driven by Florencio Casillas of Scottfbluff, received damage to the side, fuel tank, exhaust, batteries and other attachments of the cab. The damage is estimated at $1,001.

The report states that the entire front of Powell's truck was smashed in, causing the truck to be totaled.

Neither driver was reported having any injuries.
