Tri County Musicians Fall Concert: 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Performing are the Jr. High Band, Sr. High Band, Jr. High Chorus, Jr. High Swing Choir, T.C. Singers and the Sr. High Swing Choir. Admission is $3.00 for adults and $1 for non-Tri County students. Tri County students in grades 12 and younger are admitted free, as are senior citizens.

Centennial Artist-in-Residence program: artists have the opportunity to live at the monument and create works of art inspired by the Homestead story and its environment. Shing Yin Khor, a cartoonist from Los Angeles, Calif., will be at the Homestead Oct 16-30.
