Alma F. Sipp, 90, Beatrice passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at the Beatrice Community Hospital. She was born September 23, 1928 in Clifton, Kansas to Francis and Elna (Johnson) Gieber. Alma graduated in 1947 from Northeast High School in Lincoln, Neb. She was a past member of Iopa #30 lodge in Vallejo, Calif. and was a member of Christ Community Church in Beatrice. Alma married Larry F. Sipp December 28, 1961 in Seward, Neb.
Survivors include husband Larry of Beatrice; sons, John (Jenni) Duncan of Waunakee, Wisc., Charles (Gail) Duncan of Footville, Wisc., Thomas (Donna) of Tulome, Calif. and Paul (Tina) Duncan of Redding, Calif.; daughter, Kathy (Rodney) Olson of Sacramento, Calif.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Bette Boesiger of Beatrice, and Jody (Jim) Akeson of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Lyle Sipp of Spokane, Wash.
Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Elna (Johnson) Gieber; daughter, Janice Walters; infant son, James Duncan; son, Mark Duncan; grandson, Scott Duncan; brother, LaVerne Gieber; sisters, Delores Salcito and Elizabeth Strough.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at Christ Community Church with Pastor Jack Magness officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. at the church.
