Harry “Whitey” Kruse, 86 of Blue Springs, Neb., died Feb. 2, 2019 at his home. He was born on May 11, 1932 in Burchard, Neb. He enjoyed reading, collecting cookbooks, playing his harmonica, watching western movies, occasional trips to Walmart, dinner from KFC, sharing experiences from his service in the Navy, his cat Booper, his friends and spending time with his great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his son, David Kruse; daughter, Susan Landon; grandchildren, Rachel, Jeremey, Josh, Brenda, Jessica, Tracy and Eli; great-grandchildren, Jakob, Cameron, Emma, Issabel, Sophia and Mia; sisters, Dorothy Siske; brothers, Carl Kruse and wife Marjorie, Walt Kruse and wife Anita; sisters-in-law, Shirley Kruse, Darlene Kruse, Shirley Steiner, Maryanne Steiner and Norma Steiner; brother-in-law, Marty Steiner and wife Jeannette; numerous nieces and nephews.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Kruse; parents, John and Helen Kruse; parents-in-law, Elmer and Thelma Steiner; brothers, John Kruse and Donald Kruse; brothers-in-law, Gene Siske, Charles, Jerry and Bruce Steiner; sisters, Anne Stuteville and husband Bill, Lorena Higgins and husband Duane; sister-in-law, Joyce Green and husband Allen.
