Patricia Jean Gomon, 84, of Beatrice died on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Beatrice Good Samaritan Society. She was born on January 28, 1935 to Lawrence and Ruth (Telando) Holm at Duluth, MN and graduated from Duluth High School in 1953. She was a secretary for a law firm in Missouri, was employed by McDonald Air Craft in Denver and was a caseworker for 32 years for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. She was a long-time member of the West Side Baptist Church of Beatrice. She was a Master Gardener for the Garden Club, a member of the Art Guild and a volunteer at the Community Food Pantry.
Survivors include her children, Kris (Scott) Galindo of Clay Center, KS and Kraig (Denise) Gomon of Bellevue; five grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua. Kristopher, Patrick and Jonathan; two brothers, Richard (Karen) Holm and David (Karlyne) Holm; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at West Side Baptist Church with Jon Palmquist officiating. A prayer service will be held at 10:45 A.M. at the church on Saturday. Cremation has taken place but a register book for signatures will be available at the Fox Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 and at the church one hour preceding the services on Saturday.
