Robert Lewis Winslow, 97 years of age, of Beatrice, Nebraska died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on November 10, 1921 in Blue Springs, Nebraska to Bruce and Edna (Morris) Winslow. He attended Union School through the 8th Grade. Robert served his country in the U.S. Navy from 119939 to 1946, was a Pearl Harbor Survivor and served on the destroyer USS Helm. He enjoyed eating out and being on the go.

Robert is survived by his son, Dan of California; granddaughter, Jennifer McCord and husband Rob of San Jose, California; great-granddaughters; brother, Donald Winslow of Beatrice, Nebraska; sisters, Margaret Crawford of Wymore, Nebraska and Betty Slagel of Beatrice, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Bruce and Edna Winslow; wife, Angelina; daughter, Pam; four brothers; and two sisters.

No local services will be held. Inurnment will be in Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito, California. A memorial is established to the family's choice. A guestbook is available online at Harman-Wright Mortuary, Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
