Do you need to earn your GED? Or maybe just brush up on your reading and language skills? Southeast Community College’s Adult Education program is offering open enrollment classes in several communities throughout southeast Nebraska. Distance learning opportunities also are available.

In Beatrice, Adult Basic Education/General Equivalency Diploma and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes begin the week of Aug. 12, 2019, and meet at SCC and the Beatrice Public Library. These classes are free, including all materials, for anyone who is at least 16 and has officially withdrawn from school or completed homeschooling.

Adult Education is a federally funded program designed to help adults improve their lives by offering classes in Basic Skills, GED Preparation, Employability Skills and ESL. Students can study and re-test until their goals are met.
