Falls City Sacred Heart came from behind to beat Freeman Friday night in the third place game of the MUDECAS A Division.
The second-seeded Irish won the game 42-40 in overtime over fourth seeded Freeman.
The Lady Falcons led 8-7 after the first quarter and extended that lead to 20-17 at half time.
They maintained a 30-26 lead after the third quarter. Sacred Heart was able to fight back and tie it at 35-35, forcing overtime.
Sacred Heart outscored freeman 7-5 in the overtime period to get the win.
Leading the way for Sacred HEart was Rachel Magdanz with 17 points while Danielle Bippes had eight, McKenzie Witt had six, ERison Vonderschmidt had five, Elizabeth Keithley had four and Ahren Ebel had two.
Macy Holland led the way for Freeman with 15 points while Addison Dorn had eight, Brylie Hartwig had seven, Raeann Hartwig had four and AShley Oltman, Brookly Ideus and Taylor Anderson had two each.
HTRS takes third in B Division
In the third place game of the girls B Division, fifth-seeded Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer defeated sixth-seeded Palmyra 49-34.
HTRS took a 12-4 lead in the first quarter and extended that lead to 25-12 at half time. They led 38-24 after three quarters and coasted to the win from there.
Leading the way for HTRS was Katilyn Glathar with 24 points while Peyton Schaardt had 12, Matilyn Stalder had seven and Natalie Novak, JenaBella Vasco and Ellie Schaardt had two each.
Palmyra was led by Abbie Frazee's nine points while Taya Ptacnik had seven, Holly Wilen had six, Madelyn Sweney and Jami Gabriel had five each and Clara Whyman and Taryn White had one each.
Boys championship match-ups set
After Thursday's late games, the match-ups for Saturday's championship games are set.
In the A Division, second-seeded Falls City Sacred Heart defeated top-seeded Johnson-Brock 61-43 Thursday night.
The Irish will now play fourth-seeded Tri County in the championship game on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Johnson-Brock will play in a third place game against Freeman at 4:15 p.m.
In the B Division, second-seeded Southern defeated Palmyra 50-33 Thursday night. They will now play top-seeded HTRS in the B Division Championship at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Palmyra will play in a third place game against Diller-Odell Saturday at 2:45 p.m.
