YORK - The Beatrice boys golf team finished 10th at the York Invite.
The Orangemen finished with a score of 346. Northwest won the tournament with a team score of 313.

Beatrice coach Dick Stuart said his team got off to a bad start.
"We had guys that shot some good nine holes," Stuart said. "But other than Andrew (Paquette), our 18-hole scores are not where we want them to be. Our biggest problem is still too many big numbers. We are about to start a very busy time with three tournaments in the next two weeks."
Andrew Paquette earned an 11th place medal with a score of 78.
"Andrew played the last 16 holes in five over for a 78 and a 11th place medal," Stuart said.

Bryant Jurgens finished with a 94 while Brayden Cook had a 98.
"Finishing 10th out of 18 teams is not what we were looking for and we know we have weaknesses we need to work on," Stuart said.
