Beatrice coach Dick Stuart said they knew Omaha Duchesne would be tough, but he's glad they were able to get second.

Beatrice had three other medalists as well. Mackenzie Barnard finished eighth with a score of 100, Abby Jones finished ninth with a score of 103 and Sydney Southwick finished 10th with a score of 103.
"Abby has had a really good start to the season shooting two really nice scores," Stuart said. "Sydney and Mackenzie are just steady players. We just need to work on a few little things with both of them to get them into the mid 90s."

"Blake just has to work on her irons and get her confidence up," Stuart said. "Her tee shots are good and she's been solid around the greens. If we can just get her confidence up and get her going in the right direction, she can be good because she has a lot of talent."
