What were your reasons for choosing? It is a great opportunity for me to reach my full potential and it was close to home. I really connected with the coaches and the girls as well.
What other schools did you consider? I considered UNK, Northwest Missouri State, Creighton, UNO, Kansas University, and Kansas State
How long have you desired to play college sports? Ever since I was about a fifth grader
What did you enjoy about the recruiting process? I enjoyed how easy it was to get things taken care of and having the opportunity to talk to great college coaches and a lot of the girls who play college golf. I have made friends with a lot of the girls coaches have recommended me talking to.
What are the strengths you'll bring to the college game? I will bring length to the game. The first thing both coaches said was that something I was good at was being long.
What do you think will be the biggest challenges? I think the biggest challenges will be getting into the swing of how college golf works because it is very different. Another challenge I will face is missing classes to travel to meets. Sometimes golfers miss up to three to four days of school with traveling and everything.
What are you looking forward to most in college athletics? Making more memories and making lifelong friends. I will also enjoy the team bonding activities and the great opportunities to travel to new golf courses.
