Connor Kelley finished fifth in No. 1 singles. He picked up wins over Ralston 8-3 and South Sioux City 8-5.
"(Connor's) wins were crucial in picking up the needed points for the team to finish third," said Beatrice Coach Karen Dittbrenner.
Beatrice will be in action again on Friday and Saturday when they travel to McCook to play McCook, Gering, North Platte and Scottsbluff.
"This conference tournament gives us a great measuring stick of how much we have improved from earlier in the season to now," Dittbrenner said. "Overall, these kids have consistently improved and should be able to finish the season strong."
After the trip to McCook, the Orangemen will then compete in the Class B State Tournament on Oct. 17 and 18 at the Woods Tennis Center in Lincolnl.
