The Beatrice wrestling team claimed the Raymond Central Invite team championship on Saturday.
The Orangemen finished with 181 points, which put them ahead of Columbus Lakeview (177), Schuyler (141) and Waverly (134).
Cozad finished fifth, Norris finished sixth, Syracuse finished seventh, Nebraska City finished eighth, Auburn finished ninth and Wakefield finished 10th. Raymond Central, Fort Calhoun, HTRS, Friend and Falls City rounded out the rest of the standings.
"I felt the guys wrestled extremely well," said Beatrice coach Jordan Johnson. "They wrestled aggressive and kept fighting the whole tournament."
Tanner York and Drew Arnold picked up individual championships at the 106 and 113 weight classes.
"Tanner wrestled tough, as did Drew Arnold," Johnson said. "They push each other everyday and they are starting to see the fruit of that."
York, a junior, also picked up his 100th career win at the tournament.
Beatrice got four runner-up finishes. Ben Garland, Jason Stevens, Aaron Shumaker and Jerad Humble all finished second in their respective weight classes.
Kaleb Dayhuff picked up a fourth place finish while Quentin Hartig and Coleton Williamson both finished fifth.
Norris notched one individual champion in Gavin Eason in the 182 weight class. They also picked up three runner-up finishes from Tyler Pester, Zachary Serna and Matthew Harvey. Clayton Williams finsiehd fifth for the Titans.
Beatrice will be in action again on Thursday when they travel to Fairbury for a dual. On Saturday, they will travel to the River Cities Conference Tournament at Ralston.
